Clowns, who are a thrill at many kids’ parties and social events, form a huge customer base for the costume manufacturers and sellers. They are used to cheer up people persons feeling down or who want to have a good moment.  Kids love to play with clowns and it is a good way for parents to seek a clowns service when hosting a party. It helps them divert their attention and hence give privacy and lessen adults’ burden. Costume dressed clowns are also used as a therapeutic means to patients, especially kids who have been hospitalized for long periods, e.g. cancer patients.

Halloween costumes are used to scare or thrill people especially when it is dark.  The most common ones were ghost masks, but by having become more diverse with our cultures, designers have come up with more costumes that can be used and still, send a scarier dead chill down anybody’s back.  They include masks, glitzy feathers, Halloween wigs, make-up kits, fangs, among many others.

Costumes for Halloween reach their climax at the midnight on October 31st.  People dress to scare others especially in the streets and deserted streets and in abandoned houses.  Several horror films and drama series use the same costumes for their starring.  Animals and other pets are also dressed for the occasion to make the thrill more thrilling.  Owls, bats and cats are perceived by many to be intertwined with the demonic world.
